Recently we came across an article online on Inman News, about “Eleven Amazing Real Estate Facts” that really caught our attention, so we took a look at each one, and decided to share them with you one at a time! Some are simply tidbits about foreign real estate customs, some are facts about the rich and famous, and some are just interesting twists on stuff we probably already knew, but didn’t think about. Real Estate Fact: The Burj Khalifa is a building so tall that you can watch the sunset from the base of the building, then take an elevator to the top and watch a second sunset!

Expanded Fact: The Burj Khalifa is currently the tallest skyscraper in the world, located in Dubai.

It has over 160 stories, with residential, commercial, and recreational spaces, and has the tallest elevator service in the world and the highest outdoor observation deck on earth. The building was designed to exceed multiple world records for building and free-standing structure heights.

Fun Fact: The building design was partly taken from the structure of the Hymenocallis, or desert spider-lily flower.
