- Columbus Zoo School’s Out Camps
In the past, Columbus Zoo has had spring break camps that include a full day of exploring the zoo and animals, snacks, and a tee-shirt. Campers should bring a lunch and wear close-toed shoes and play clothes. In the past, single day camps were available for grades K-2, and two-day camps for grades 3-5. No full weeks have been available in previous sessions. The King Arts Center offers Spring Break Camps with a Black Arts Movement theme. The week available is the Columbus City Schools spring break week. - McConnell Arts Center / Thurber House
Thurber House is holding a Spring Break Writing and Arts Camp for grades 4-6 at the McConnell Arts Center in Worthington. Campers will create crazy characters, wonderful worlds, and then bring their stories to life with art. Campers need to pack a lunch and bring their creativity, all other tools will be supplied. Camp runs March 22-24 for three days only…so this camp is a perfect choice to combine with a single-day program for Monday and Friday of that week.
- OSU Sport Camp
Does your kid love sports and games? This may be the camp for them. Held at the Rec Center on campus, you can register your child for a single week of spring break for 1-5 days March 28-April 1. Campers must pack their own lunches and wear close-toed shoes and play clothes. Ages 5-12.$31 per day for members, $38 per day for non-members.
- SportsOhio Field Sports Camp
Whether you choose a single day, a week of half-days, or a full week of full-day camp, there’s a ton of fun to be had at this SportsOhio spring break camp! Three weeks are available, which match most school districts’ schedules, and you and your camper can choose which activity themes are interesting, or go for the whole week and experience all of them. Includes snacks, tee-shirt, and merchandise, campers must pack a lunch.$99 for single day, $175 for a half-day week, $310 for a full-day week.
