Powell Condos at Wedgewood Country Club

There are three major Powell condo communities in the Wedgewood Country Club area of Powell. Listing from a north to south location, there is the Bishopsgate at Wedgewood condo community, the Hamptons at Wedgewood, and the Barringtons at Wedgewood. Both Bishopsgate and the Barringtons are detached single-family homes on condominium lots, while the Hamptons consist of three condo units per building. All three communities are located off Fairway Drive on the east side of the road across from the Wedgewood Country Club.

Bishopsgate at Wedgewood

Bishopsgate has 39 units with five different floor plans. The community was started in 2004 and completed in 2013. The exterior is reminiscent of English cottages with open floor plans inside. Recent sales have been in the higher $300s with previous year’s sales going up to the mid $300s.

The Hamptons at Wedgewood

The Hamptons at Wedgewood is a community with one main circular road and interior common space. There are 57 total units. Construction of this community began in 2002 and was completed in 2004. Each three-unit building has two 2-story end units and a middle 1-story unit. The sizes of the homes vary from 1542 to total 2943 square feet. Each home offers an open contemporary floor plan with lots of natural light. Recent sales have ranged from $190,000 up to $300,000.

Barringtons at Wedgewood

The oldest of the three communities, construction began at Barringtons in 1997 and the 40 units were completed in 2004. The detached units range from 2200 to 2448 square feet. All homes have basements, a two car garage and a back porch. Home maintenance is the responsibility of the homeowner. Recent sold prices have ranged from the upper $200s to $400,000.

About the Powell Community

Located north of Columbus, Powell is an upscale, fast-growing community with new amenities and country charm. An interconnected bike trail system, multiple parks and community swimming pool helped Powell to earn a superior rating by the Ohio Parks and Recreation Association. The downtown area has shopping, dining, entertainment, and free wi-fi available. Powell is convenient to the Columbus Zoo, Dublin and Polaris Fashion Place.
