If you’re looking for a great neighborhood to call home, check out these five fabulous facts about Hilliard, Ohio. There really is something special about this wonderful Northwest Central Ohio community.

  1. Television.
Wait, doesn’t every community have TV? Well, yes, but the one and only Early Television Museum is located right here in Hilliard! Other than the Smithsonian, there’s no better place to learn about the early days of television history.
  2. Hospitality.
Hilliard has a quaint historic district, and is a bustling town of over 20,000 people, but is still within shouting distance of productive farmland. While growing by leaps and bounds, there is a real effort to keep a small-town feel with a warm and friendly attitude. Whether you’re a visitor or a new neighbor, you’ll find a warm welcome in Hilliard.
  3. Little bit country, little bit Rock n’ Roll.
The Franklin County Fairgrounds are located in Hilliard. This is the perfect spot for 4-H competitions, equestrian events, and even rock concerts. The Fairgrounds are a great mix of country and city, just like Hilliard!
  4. History.
In addition to the Early Television Museum, Hilliard is home to the Heritage Rail Trail, Historical Village, and the Hilliard Historical District. Both the town government and the people of Hilliard keep one eye on the past, and one on the future.
  5. Cats. Lots of BIG cats.
Hilliard City Schools are solid academically and love their athletics, too. Hilliard loves to name their school sports teams after cats! Panthers, Jaguars, Bobcats, and more! Small house cats need not apply.
