Running March 19-22 this year, the 2020 Columbus International Auto Show roars into town again at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Tickets for this year’s event run from $6 for students, $8 for seniors (65+), and $10 or $12 for adults, depending on whether you pay online or at the door. Children under 9 years are admitted free. Parking is available in the area at various locations, on a first-come-first-served basis. A complete list of your parking options can be seen on this web page.
While some more expensive and/or rare automobiles are for viewing only, others allow visitors to get up close and personal, even allowing you to sit in the driver’s seat!
On Friday, March 20, from 7 to 11 p.m. there’s a Charity Gala event, with proceeds supporting various local causes. Last year, over $200,000 was raised toward Dreams on Horseback, Pink Ribbon Girls, and the Second & Seven Foundation. Friday is also Military Appreciation Day, where members of our military are admitted free (proper ID is required).
Take a stroll down Dreamers Alley, courtesy of Columbus Cars & Coffee who is sponsoring your chance to look at some of the world’s most exotic cars. Or take a walk along Luxury Lane to see various luxury cars. Subaru is offering Ride & Drive at the show, which means you can have your chance to ride around the streets of Columbus in a new Subaru! There’s a Kids Pitstop for children; a wonderful playground that includes the Power Wheels Race Track. This year’s Photo Scavenger Hunt will give you a chance to identify makes and models and have your name entered into a raffle to win a new TV.
