Delaware City Schools, located north of Columbus, has five elementary schools, one intermediate school, one middle school, and two high schools, serving approximately 5,272 students. In the 2010-11 school year, the Ohio Department of Education awarded Delaware City Schools the rating of Excellent with Distinction for exceeding academic standards set by Ohio.
