2017 Saint Patrick’s Day Events
Many restaurants and bars are encouraging you to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day with them, hosting St. Paddy’s Day parties with live entertainment. Starting with morning Pancake Breakfasts, and going through those late evening Irish Pub dinners. Looking for green beer, lively and live entertainment, dancing, and other Irish festivities? Check websites to see what your favorite restaurant or watering hole are offering on this greenest of holidays. If you’re choosing to celebrate Saint Patrick’s day without the green beer, we have a few suggestions!
March 17 & 18, All Day
Dublin, Ohio is the best place to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day in Central Ohio. Bring the entire family to Downtown Dublin to enjoy this huge St. Patrick’s Day bash. Start with Flannagan’s Big Tent St. Patrick’s Day Celebration on the 17th which includes a 5k run and early morning breakfast. If you still have energy to burn, try the Blarney Bash on the 18th with live music, dancing, and drinks and food for sale.
March 17, 9:30am-All Day
Columbus Saint Patrick’s Day parade is held on the actual day, Friday March 17, 2017.
The annual parade is put on by the Shamrock Club of Columbus, a group honoring their Irish heritage all year. The day begins with a Mass at Holy Cross Church at 9:30AM, and the parade begins at 11:30am on Nationwide Blvd in the Arena District and ends at the Battelle Grand Hall at The Columbus Convention Center. Their Irish family reunion is held directly after the parade from 12- 6PM; tickets are on sale on their web site.
